I am not dying, not anymore than any of us are at any moment. We run, hopefully as fast as we can, and then everyone must stop. We can only choose how we handle the race.

THOMAS ANTHONY HERMAN
July 27, 1986 to April 7, 2006
He was a loving son of Angela M. Herman, Loving brother to Natalie, Nathaniel,
Jessica, Joseph, Jonothan, Justin, Timothy and Antonio. Proceeded in Death by
Little sister Diamond Marie Herman, Grand Joseph G. Herman.
He was a joy in all of our lives, He was a protector, our strength, our role model,
our inspiration. He loved his family deeply and we love him the same. He encour-aged us to go on when we thought we couldn't. He could put a smile on anyones
face and make us fill with joy.
On April 7, 2006 Thomas was taken from us in a single car accident when the
car he was in went airborne twice and he was thrown out of the backseat of the
car with another friend. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident
7 minutes after it had accurd. His friend who was thrown out with him died
10 days after the accident. That was a sad month for all that was involved.
We will always love him and we will miss him deeply.
Man, I remember in elementary...Thursday was pizza day. Your ass loved that pizza...anybody didn't want theirs, you did. That, and eating glue...haha.
One year for my birthday Thomas wanted to do
something special for me. So he invited his girl-
friend over to help him make me a cake. Well when
I got home I was so tired I went and laid down for
a while. He came and woke me up being so excited,
so I went into the kitchen with him and he took a
cake pan out of the refrigerator and it was empty.
His younger sibblings decided to help themselfs to
the cake. So he made me another one because he
was the type to always remember someone's
birthday. That was one precious memory I will
always remember.
Thomas was always into something, When he was two years old he always tried to get into my Jewlry box on top of my dresser. Well he pulled out the drawers to make them into steps and climbed up grabbed the jewlry box and brought it down.
Grabed a saftey pin and he worked it in the lock until he got it opened and started playing with my jewlry. He was so clever and done it all they time until he broke the box.

I also lost a son on April 15th 2006. He also was a passenger in a vehicle. The driver lost control and both of them were ejected from the jeep. My precious Nicholas died at the scene from the jeep flipping in air and falling on his head...
Your Thomas is beautiful. Loved much too. I just want you to know that I smiled as I looked at his photo's. I am deeply sorry for his mother. There is no greater pain than the death of your child. It will be 4 years for my Nicholas on the 15th. It seems like it just happened yesterday, however, it seems like an eternity since I have kissed him, held him or heard his voice.
My prayers are with you all. I am glad you have a memorial site for Thomas!
